There’s a reason why Jazmine Sullivan‘s debut album is titled Fearless; as our very own Nathan S. pointed out in his review, “she’s not afraid to sing about topics that even most rappers stay away from.” This approach has been so successful for the Philly native that she has been rewarded with five Grammy nominations. On her third single, she reveals that, though she can handle Lions, Tigers & Bears without breaking a sweat, the prospect of asking a longtime friend for more than friendship has her a little frightened. In the end, however, Sullivan realizes that it’s better to try and fail than never to try at all. Complete with a light-then-heavy production from Salaam Remi, Lions, Tigers & Bears has pounced on Urban AC radio, making its move for Urban Mainstream on January 12.

This ish is off the chains! The bass is HEAVY! This is the best joint I've heard her on! Real talk. I like this even better than "Bust Your Windows". I love production the most. It reminds me of something from the Roger and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" will Brandy...which is one of my favorite soundtracks ever. This is classic! 5 stars!

I don't really like it because her voice sounds too grown up for me to enjoy and the beat isn't that great- kinda boring. But i wouldn't say that it's garbage...I just would never listen to it again.OK?.

This song is not about catchiness, I hope we all agree with that before giving it low ratings cuz it’s “boring”. This is all about expressing raw emotions, almost causing you to feel them! Jazmine is one of the few singers nowadays that could pull this level of dramatic performance off!
Salaam Remi is a MAESTRO! He made Fearless a remarkable (Grammy nominated) album! His productions are so erudite and classy! Can you hear the last sound he features by the end?! That gives me the shivers… |

E Dub, not old, just late to the party. The song isn't old if it's been released on an album for 2 months and is now just getting released as a single.
Anyways, ooo Miss Jazmine is so damn talented! That voice is going to be remembered for years to come. I LOVE this song but didn't expect it to be the 3rd single. In my opinion, Switch is the real business right there and should definitely be released! This one is flame, but gets a little repetitive along with her Bust Your Windows track. OVerall easy 4 star, and COP THIS ALBUM PEOPLE! $10 Well Spent! |

The lyrics on here are solid. The return of the songwriter, I love the movement. I have yet to hear Jazmine's album but I hear its classic. I need to wake up on this one. This song is really nice. Her voice is soul filled and mature. Mr. Remi has been making solid beats for years. He did a good portion of Nas tracks from God's Son and Street's Disciple and those albums were both Classic. So I know what he brings to the table.

im not scared of no lions, tygas, or kanye bears..but this jazmine chick got me paranoid that she might bust my car windows..haha no im playing my tint has a coat jasmine sullivan proof force field stuff. this song is solid (sips tea)...if you havent heard the chalie boy and chamillionaire version of "bust the windows on your car".. go hear it on youtube, its funny. this was good like how my tea stays evertime i say i sip it/

I haven't heard the album yet myself. Salaam Remi isn't something I thnk people should really comment on here, since he's been here for a while, and we all know he delivers. Jazmine should be what everyone pays attention to. This is a soulful song, and I'd say it's pretty unique. I really need to check the album out after this...

Jazmine's whole album is a great listen. This was a solid choice for the third single. They could have gone several ways; hopefully this will stick at radio.
