It’s Like This and Like That and like this and uh!” More than 15 years after the release of Dre and Snoop‘s G-funk classic, I’m still not sure exactly what it was, or what it was being compared to. I guess it just is what it is. By contrast, it’s damned near impossible not to catch Jay Sean‘s drift when he invites a female clubgoer back to his place for a little of this, and a little of that on the latest single off his fourth LP. Somewhat lighter on the sucrose than Minaj-assisted lead selection 2012, this cut finds Orange Factory Music serving up a dancefloor-ready synth instrumental as Sean delivers seductive verses laced with just the right amount of radio-friendly innuendo. Assisting on the guest tip is none other than Jay’s label boss, Birdman; on the back, the Cash Money head honcho jumps on board to briefly explore the philosophical ramifications of Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, as brought to bear on the question of free will. Nah, just kidding, he raps about his bankroll. Does this cut have what it takes to stand alongside Jay Sean’s previous hits? Your call, readers. If you Like This, then I’m guessing you’ll love Freeze Time, due out in the first quarter of 2011.

Kinda digging the beat, as cheap as it sounds. Birdman was decent, but I can imagine a better rapper for the third verse.

Might turn a few heads if released to mainstream radio.

Big fan of Jay Sean and his uber-catchy pop vocals, which are on display here, but I am super disappointed in the selection of (his label boss) Birdman. I know Baby pays the bills, but why not grab another (more talented) rap feature (ahem, Ludacris)? Anyways...

Agree with Z here. Ludacris definitely would have taken this song up a level. Oh well, guess we'll just have to hope for a remix.

I’m not really feeling this one, and Birdman yet again proved to be useless.

Yeah this is gonna be a club banger on the pop scene. This is gonna be all over the radio on the mix stations as well as some hip hop stations. Nice production & they both do what is expected from them.

I gotta agree with the homey DJ Z here. This is yet another catchy hip-pop track from Jay, but Birdman drags it down. There must have been some other reason Bird got included, because with a better rapper (and let's be clear, there are a lot of batter rappers, a lot) and this could be a full-fledged hit.

Does Birdman understands the word content? Its like they just took the outtakes off "Money to Blow" and put it on this track. The song is nice but seriously why Birdman...why?

This is a Banger, at first I though it was Corny and the beat didnt go with the lyrics... Birdman was pointless!
but it has grown on me.

His other single "Break Ya Back" is definatly a certified banger. SMASH!!! HOT!

He needs to release that instead of this....

Agreed, Birdman was not the best person to pick in this song to feature. Ludacris would have been a much better person to pick for this song. To me birdman is more of a underground guy better for darker rap. Not this kind of more happy rap. Ludacris would have been so much better.

fan of this track and i think jay sean is under rated (even with his big hits), but i think birdman wasn't the perfect choice for the collab. but hey, if you sign the check, i guess you can do that.
