Jay's image doesn't fit his stage name, delivery, or attitude on the mic - but ya know what? Looks can be deceiving! Tynisha sounds GREAT on the hook and Boi-1da regains my trust as a producer with this banging beat.
Nice first Booth feature for Jay. Let's see what he can do with #2... Thanks for the premiere, Lola.

This is good but he easily gets overshadowed by the hot production from boi-1da!!
Imagine drake on this track.... he would totally destroy it!! Tynisha Keli does descent on the hook....never heard of her but she delivers!!!! |

I feel like the orchestral intro on this was used on a Lupe track, anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyway, my first time listening to Beretta, and though his lines aren't stellar, his passion more than makes up for it. Really digging this. I'm keeping it on rotation.

Solid production, Boi-1Da is on a roll. Lyrics were decent with Jay spitting lines with a compassionate confidence that makes you want to listen, but Tynisha's voice is, still, grating on my nerves. I mean grow up!

The production by Boi-1da definitely caught my attention...definitely has that epic feel. Jay Beretta doesnt have top-notch lyrics but you can hear the passion he has in his voice. He has a few good lines but his flow complements this beat great. What do you guy's see in Tynisha though?? Her voice really needs to mature before she takes on a role on a song like this. Should of had somebody like Marsha Ambrosius on this. The bad hook still doenst prevent it from being a banger in my mind.

Stay true yourself. Sounds raw and edgy. Nice intro (reminds me of a 70s sound). One comment. Can we stop the use of the "N" word? Other than that, sounds cool.

Great debut by Beretta in the booth, def gna look out for him in the future. Good lyrics but its the passion/hunger in his voice that wins me over on this. Don't see wot ppls problem with Tynisha on this track is, think she did great on the hook. Another win for Boi-1da on the production side, matches well with Beretta's personality here.
