It has been a while since last we heard from Tulsa, Oklahoma native Jarvis Shaffer. After releasing a string of singles (see Pretty Girl, Everybody Luv Me) several years ago, the former DTP crooner went missing. Luckily, for his fans, Jarvis is back in action with the release of the Waka Flocka-assisted single, Coppin The Best. Produced by newcomer K-Fam, the record will be a part of Jarvis’ forthcoming album, Cardiology.

I personally hate Waka Flocka, so I was VERY skeptical of this record when I saw his name in it. But when I heard Jarvis come in on the first verse, my hopes raised...and then fell almost as fast as they rose. Guess I was shocked that Jarvis was a singer and not a rapper, but after I did a double-take, I saw that it was in fact a trashy song and my gut feeling was correct.
