Jamie Foxx - Winner
Artist: Jamie Foxx
Featuring: Justin Timberlake , T.I.
Producer: The Y's
Album: Body
Label: RCA
I’m a pretty confident guy, but sometimes I need theme music to become truly sure of myself. If only songs like Winner could play every time I walked into a room I’d be all set. Singer turned actor turned hitmaker Jamie Foxx returns with another anthem that exudes coolness and swagger. Recruiting pop sensation Justin Timberlake for vocal and beat work (JT is a part of a sound ensemble called The Y’s along with James Fauntleroy and Rob Knox), Foxx performs yet another radio-ready magic trick; he seems to just pull hits out of his, um, hat these days. The victorious horns on Winner make its confident lyrics that much more believable as Jamie and Justin both boast that they “can’t miss, can’t lose.” However, the real MVP of this song is T.I., who comes back from prison stronger than Mike Tyson with a verse dripping with swagger. If you like this song and want to roll with the winners, you can request this song at radio now or wait for Jamie Foxx’s upcoming album Body to hit stores on June 22!

Wow i so called this out, i knew this was going to be on here this whole track is cliche nothing special at all...if jamie starts to put music out like this for now on he will be asked to throw in the towel for good...i expected a banger from 3 heavy weights?!?!

With 3 huge artists on the same track, it sucks that this is such a dissapointment. The beat at times is overbearing and gets annoying when it switches up. It would of better to hear Justin off the track but TI's verse was the best part of the song.(he's already been on 3 or 4 songs out like he never left). The hook reminds me of something Diddy would of done in the late '90s, which now sounds outdated(Khaled's All I Do Is Win was bad too). If this would of been TI's song with no Justin or Jamie and slight improvements on the beat, this would of been dope.

These ratings are bit low than what I expected, I think this song is fire! JT is slowly creepin back in the game, and his vocals on here were tight. T.I. was definitely the highlight with that cleanup.
Basically, this song will be the theme song for like the NBA Playoffs or some other sporting event commercial promo thing. The lyrics are just too perfect. |

Catchy (but disposable) pop music from three of the biggest stars within their fields. Could it have been better given the talent present? Yes. But, I enjoyed it.

I didn't like the earlier leaked version, mainly because of the gap towards the end and the unclear lyrics of Justin Timberlake. Both of those problems are fixed in the final version, I now can't get enough of this song. T.I. is really coming back hard!

The production is the reason this song isnt getting higher then expected ratings. If these three had some better sounding board work, we could of been looking at a classic track.

I guess its an accurate call to say these 3 are capable of much more but this was by no means bad. It had that anthem feel and was pretty damn catchy. T.I. was great.

I didnt hear any auto-tune! Is that possible?! Nice to hear something fresh from these 3 guys, if not something weve all heard before. Still, i would say its banger status!

since the unfinished version leaked, I couldn't wait for the final version. It was worth the wait to get a great out of prison T.I.!!!
The beat is mad catchy and every sound is motivational. The vocals were perfect. I can do anything with this on the background! :p |

Catchy. But just not what I'm into these days. Catchy. T.I. was my highlight. Did I mention it was catchy?

TI verse is the only part that's worth repeating here. It's almost worth sitting through Justin and Jamie's forgettable performance to get to TIP's charismatic verse. And the beat changing gears several times during song, still fails to make a strong mark.
[T.I.] You see the, Porsche Panamera got them in hysteria the turbo super fast and that McClaren even scarier hear me turnin’ corners burnin’ rubber in your area I’m hard to follow once I pop the clutch and hit the throttle I’m recession proof, I don’t run the money, money run to me and this economy guess I’m considered an anomaly you got is Maserati’s, new Ferrari’s, I got one of each my future bright tight like the b!tch in front of me turn pain into progression in every studio session passion into perfection, to failure I’m an exception you wanna lose, to battle me is a blessing you couldn’t die at the hands of a better man I ran from the bottom to the best, no auto-tune been in the lead, say you seen king follow whom never that, I’m the freshest go ask whoever that King back, money long as a old Cadillac |

I wouldn't call this a disappointment by any means.jt definitely came with his verse and the beat was solid other than the horns at times, the timbo influence shined brightest on T.I.'s part. In Rotation

T.I.'s come back better than ever. These past few features have been insane. The definition of consistency.
I liked the production more than most of the ratings so far. I especially liked it when it switched up for T.I.'s verse. Jamie Foxx has lost the soul in his music. Now he just makes what's already popular. But hey, this will get mad radio play no quesion. |

When you're hearing this during every timeout of this years NBA playoffs, remember that @cb126405 called it first.
Jamie and JT are forgettable, but I was honestly a little surprised by how hard T.I. came here. He really went at it. The King is back. |

t.i was obviously the standout here as we all know, boy am i glad he is back and i reckon he is even better since he got out. j.t was alright and jamie was also, j.t never fails to impress with his beats thought and thats the deciding factor that pushes this up to banger

I am a little undecided on this one!!! I wont Jamie to go back to his gold digger/unpredictable/she got her own days!!!
he has an amazing voice why does he not use it??? but ill let this track spin some more times then come back with a rating!!! but Jamie if your listening can you give me a song to show off your voice/singing ability (your not that lyrical)??? - did i just say that? |

So-so catchy at best...if it weren't for TI lyrically can't say I would put it in rotation for other than background music.

I'm not a huge T.I. fan but he steals this track. He gets 5 stars. The beats kinda catchy but a little too dancy for me. JT is ok but the singing/rapping verse by Jamie Foxx is simply awful.

Even though this is Jamie' track. This is gonna get TI all kinds of radio play. Half the people out there don't even know he is out of jail yet. He's making the right moves and has the right mind set(cocky/confident) to take back the crown.
Also, JT on the beat, not bad. He must of learned somethings from Timbo. |

kind of 180 on this track. Gave it a few more spins and this track better be used as TNT's theme for the NBA playoffs. I think it was the beat that brought me around on it.
