Jamie Foxx - Blame It (Remix) ft. T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, & Lil Wayne
Artist: Jamie Foxx
Featuring: T-Pain , Busta Rhymes , Lil Wayne
Producer: Christopher "Deep" Henderson
Album: Intuition
Label: RCA
You may remember the Yung Joc-featuring remix of Jamie Foxx‘s boozy Blame It, which I cited as a potential Intuition single. Well, I was half correct: Foxx’s latest single is a remix of Blame It, but not that one. As it turns out, this is the record’s official remix and Intuition‘s second single selection. While Yung Joc was a good addition to Jamie Foxx and T-Pain‘s original version, I’m sure you’ll agree that guest contributions by Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, as well as a brand new verse by T-Pain (relegated to the hook in the original) more than make up for his absence. As Busta’s mellowed-out verse focuses on the seductive dance moves of one very inebriated shawty, Weezy sounds like he’s been sipping on something a little more potent (I’ll give you three guesses, and the first two don’t count); on his Auto-Tuned 16 bars, he seems to think that he’s the drink. The previously-featured unofficial remix was relatively well-received by our raters – will the addition of two superstar emcees add a star or two to the record’s score this time around?

I thought the remix was pretty smash. The original grew on me, so this is phresh. Busta sounded great on this (much better than Yung Joc). Weezy was okay. Hearing his voice sometimes just makes my mind drown him out...cuz he doesn't sound unique to me anymore. Everything just sounds like everything else he has spit. T-Pain did his thing as usual.

Im feeling this remix more than the original. The production is clever but it just doesnt fit well for Busta and Wayne but they still managed solid verses. T-Pain did solid, overall this is iight

The original is my favorite song right now. I gotta admit dispite the allstar line up, it is a major drop off for me. I think the beat sounds much better with harmonic vocals rather than with rapping. Wayne's I'ma drink metaphore was great, but didn't sound inspired on the delivery. Busta was ok on this, ( peep his new classic track Decisions produced by Dr Dre) This was just playable, but the OG version, my jam!

Busta is not a good fit for this song. Take him out and this is a banger. The original should get more club play than this one. Bust just does not do it.

Dunno why, but i thought Yung Joc's remix was better then this, Weezy & Busta just aint made for songs targeted at the ladies (especially Weezy who sorta sounds a bit sleazy on these sorts of tracks), still its ok though, but i prefer Joc's version

The song is catchy. I sang it in the shower this morning. They actually didn't need ANY guest features or a remix at all (though I do like Pain's new part).
The original > remix. |

Cats are killing the concept of a remix. It use to be unique, but its being used to death. The original was good on its own didn't need average wanye and busta verses.

I'm with Aussie_Pride and everyone else who liked the Yung Joc remix better. Busta was so-so, Lil' Wayne's verse was kind of interesting. OFFICIAL REMIX SHOULD BE: Jamie ft. Yung Joc, Lil' Wayne, and T-Pain!

I wish there was a female on this track and more Jamie since it is his song..i liked busta's part, wayne was cool..but i dont think he thinks of metaphors..i think his tail just be floating talking in circles...honestly..i think they should have kept jamie and pain..i would have liked that much more

This is good, should be a radio hit with all the superstar status on this record.....Weezy brought the heat on this one, i felt like he has been slacking lately, but his verse was pretty entertaining. T-Pain was good, Busta ehhhh average. Jamie Foxx killed it with the original, i expectd to hear more of him since it is HIS song!

Busta Rhymes on this record just isn't needed. And Lil Wayne, eveybody thinks putting him on a track makes it hot..no doubt, I agree. But the first remix was so much better than this. I don't even get to hear Jamie Foxx other than the chorus.
