Having suffered through Click (a.k.a., the Adam Sandler comedy that failed so hard it ended up being more depressing than Death of a Salesman), I can’t say that the ability to Fast Forward through life’s dull moments sounds all that tempting. Barbadian buzzmaker Jaicko must have been lucky enough to miss that one. On his latest single, the Oh Yeah singer tells a special girl, “I wish that we could skip to the part when we was married.” Though the singer would probably be well-served to take things a little slower, the one-two punch of his soulfully melodic vocals and Ryan & Smitty‘s energetic synth boardwork make this radio-ready jam difficult to resist; needless to say, Fast Forward should have ladies lining up for miles to “push [Jaicko’s] button.” Was that lyric suggestive to begin with, or did I deliberately take it out of context for humorous effect? I’ll let you decide. More importantly, those who like what they’re hearing should stay tuned for more leading up to the summer release of the singer’s debut album, Can I.

This track isn't bad - it has so many different elements that it becomes hard to ignore it after you start listening. There's something frighteningly Jay Sean-ish about the radio readiness of this track. I guess I should get used to hearing it.

Overall, nice...I just wish that ice cream truck-sounding jingle in the background were replaced with something else, though.

Though it got kind of annoying very quickly, I was surprised that Jaicko's "Oh Yeah" single didn't do better. Oh well, life (and this industry) moves on.

This sounds like lots of other stuff, but there is no doubt its catchy. Should be able to win at radio. Right?

Very generic record, it kind of misses its mark....the songwriting is pretty amatuer too..."I like the things you like, you like the things i like"

in fact, this sounds like some high school musical sh!t.....

Ill be surprised if this blows up....Oh Yeah was a much better record and that looked like it was destined to make Jaicko a star!

One other things....it seems EVERY up and coming male R&B singer these days is using Autotune as a crutch...where did the originality go????

Cut out the auto-tune, go easier on the ice cream truck jingle and I'd be down, but as is...needs work.

Oh, and I don't think Chris Brown is the right analogy here. Jaicko's going for more of a Colby O'Donis/Jay Sean vibe.

This is a solid pop record. Not timeless, but should get some spins.
