Though the R&B veteran’s last single, the Booth-acclaimed Ain’t Leavin’ Without You, suggested that Jaheim was back to the womanizing ways of his younger days, it seems that there’s still one female for whom he’d be willing to settle down – that is, if she’d only take him back. Finding My Way Back, the second official single off his forthcoming full-length, finds the Jersey native struggling to break through the emotional defenses of an ex he can’t bear to let slip away. As the singer delivers his soulful entreaties, co-producers Ivan “Orthodox” Barias and Carvin “Ransum” Haggins man the boards, crafting a lush, dreamy beat considerably more laid-back than that of Ain’t Leavin’, but drenched in the same brand of retro appeal. While we can only speculate about whether the lady in question will heed Jaheim’s pleas and give him another chance, I have no doubt that the Booth’s resident R&B-lovers will be won over. If you’re thirsty for more soulful, old-school-informed jams, you can look forward to Another Round on February 9, when the singer’s fifth album drops via Atlantic Records.

Nowhere near as catchy as "Ain’t Leavin’ Without You," but the urban-AC audience should eat this one up for several months. I am looking forward to this album. Good stuff to listening to while warming up with that special someone.

Pardon my language, but I'm digging the f**k out of this. From that second that guitar hits you know you're in for a bed burner - damn, Jaheim's killing it. This is some of that old school, grown people only R&B.

Jaheim has hella impressed me this album! All of his singles sound like throwbacks from about 5 or 6 years ago, they sound so familiar though they are new. The production on this song is beautiful, this song is perfect for the springtime, imo. Jaheim's music is timeless.

This IMO is equally impressive as "Ain't Leaving Without You"!!
Really smooth vocals mixed with the guitar laced slow beat makes for one very very impressive baby makin track!!

Not used to giving these kind of ratings because they're specially reserved for stand out top quality tracks, and this track def. meets all standards in question. And LOL at Nathan S. "bed burner" comment I never heard that before, I'm take that from you if you don't mind hahaha.

These first two singles will make an Adult Contemporary fan out of the hardest thug! No disrespect intended but Jaheim has been reminding me of Teddy P for a long time now...I'm glad good music didn't die with Teddy.

Great vocals! Jaheim adjusts his voice effortlessly, jumping all over the place with varying pitches. The beat is simply excellent, an incredible retro mix with a flourish of flutes.
