On this newly-released single, Jaheim takes the very direct route, issuing the most enchanting shorty in the spot a soulful ultimatum, “I don’t know what your name is or who you came with, but I Ain’t Leavin’ Without You.” Over Naughty by Nature beatsmith Kaygee‘s funky, bass-driven production, the seasoned singer spits game with the kind of confidence that only comes with years of experience, and it all adds up to a silky-smooth jam that should be a hit with Jaheim devotees and newcomers alike. Those thirsty for more refreshingly chill, retro-informed R&B goodness should keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest on Jaheim’s forthcoming senior album.  Damn Z, you don't give those 5's out easily, but I've gotta agree with you most of the way. The way this one rides out is smooth as hell, the man truly lays it down with those pipes. This is a type of track for all ages - I can see 65 year olds rocking out to this one.

about 65 yr olds rockin to this. but me being a high school student, i dont see many kids at my school "rocking" to this. BUT i must say i do like this sound. and the lyrics. and production. everything is rotation worthy. 3.5 stars. |

Solid jam by Jaheim, really lookin forward to his album. I was impressed by Makings Of A Man where I really felt he showed growth from Ghetto Classics. Nice dance floor cut that as mentioned above me, is one for the elderly and young.

This is a nice sound, real funky groove, mid-tempo rhythm for his jump off single. Everyone could jam to this! His voice is still strong, and sounds just as good as he always has.

Jaheim? i seriously dont think ive heard from this man for like 4yrs or somthin. he is comin back wit a heater tho. im really likin this. btw, i dont like everyone sayin this is for elderly, it kills the idea of this bein new and fresh. makes it sound old and played. |

At first when i first heard this I was like is this happening outside of my headphones lol :P this is real nice calm music which will accompany my revision sessions along with Jason Ceasers(forgotten how to spell his last name) work. Nice!!!

Everything is here, the vocals, the rythem, the instrumental, but something isnt connecting here. I want to like this song, i really do but its one of those things where i can't put my finger on it.

I just want to say I turned 64 in Oct and Hip-Hop is NOT my favorite...I heard this song and jumped outta bed...WOW!!! TAKE ME BACK TO MOTOWN N E TIME OR just the 60's & 70's...I registerd just to register a rating..:):)
