This summer one of the biggest questions in the history of humanity will be answered. No, not “is there a god?” No, not “what is the meaning of life?” Of course I’m talking about “where will Lebron go?” While the biggest baller on the planet weighs his options, Don Cannon brings together an emcee starting five on I Am the Man to try to convince Bron Bron to sign with their respective cities: Jadakiss makes a compelling case for the Knicks (most likely), Mikey Rocks points out the Bulls’ strengths (might happen), Uncle Murda attempts to lure Bron to the soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets (don’t underestimate their new crazy Russian billionaire owner), Chip tha Ripper pulls the hometown card for the Cavs (seriously doubt it), Brisco brings some Heat (almost definitely not gonna happen) and Nipsey Hussle pushes for the Lakers/Clippers (no way in hell). I Am the Man, along with two other tracks, appear on the Vitamin Water promotional mixtape The Choice Is Yours, available for download now. But back to the question at hand…my money’s on the Knicks. Who you got?

This song first appeared on the Rap Chart on June 7, 2010

A few thoughts...

1) LeBron needs to choose my Bulls as the team he spends the rest of his career with.

2) The Nets are still in Jersey - they'll move to BK in 2 years - but we get Uncle Murda over someone like Joe Budden. Not cool.

3) I love Brisco's energy, but I would have chosen Pitbull if he was available.

4) The star of this show was Don Cannon. Any emcee would sound great over this epic production.

this song would be hot if the whole concept wasn't about being on LeBron's sack. Come on ya'll.

O LeBron, you have the entire sports community around your finger tips right now. If I were you I would have way to much fun with it, but thankfully, you are smarter than that.

I love the concept on this track, Don Cannon, absolutely genius. While I am a Brooklyn boy at heart (can't wait till the Nets get out of Jersey), I have to say, Jada makes the best case here. Based on his verse alone, LeBron, you are a King now, but move to the Garden and you will be a God. Enough said.

Dope concept. Jada had the best verse on the track. I liked hearing from Brisco too. I don't know where LeBron will go. I don't really care come to think of it. He won't get a ring until he improves his own game.

Sorry Jada, NY already has their money teams don't wanna hear bout New York teams year in and year out. You have the yanks can't win all sports. Go Bulls. But for the song it's alright but Kobe made it to the finals get lebron d*ck out your mouth. Good concept though clever.

Each individual offer good rhymes, but the song as a whole less effective when examined closely. Rotation-Stuff.

Come on Z, you know the Nets (a.k.a. Jay-Z and crazy Russian billionaire owner) aren't saying to Lebron, "Come to New Jersey," they're saying, "Hey, it a couple years you'll be in Brooklyn." Still, you're right, I would have much rather heard Budden.

Decent track, but for those of us who could talk NBA all day (like myself) it's a great excuse to chop it up. Love the concept.

To be honest, I could care less about where LeBron goes. This track, however, was pretty crazy. With an all star line-up brought together by Don Cannon this track wasn't an epic fail. Jadakiss was decent, definitely not his best work, but decent nonetheless.

It's a while since I have heard some Chip Tha Ripper and he didn't disappoint. IMO, he delivered the best verse. Everyone else was listenable, but I really expected more. Production from Cannon is what makes this non-forgetable for me.

Don always has a crazy beat and that's really the best thing about the song. The concept was good but having five rappers (most of them I don't listen to) each coming with 16 bars gets boring, esp. if they're not Wu-Tang.

LeBron is better than Kobe the only valid argument Kobe fans have is he has 4 rings & LeBron has none which imo isn't that valid Kobe was apart of good team & a legendary coach 4 all 4 of those rings Has LeBron ever had as good of an supporting cast as Kobe? No Has LeBron ever been under a coach with 6 rings previous 2 coaching him along with coaching the greatest player the NBA has seen? No The better player is determined by skills not acheivements because if that was the case Robert Horry is better than Jordan & Bruce Bowen is on the same level with Kobe & both of those are false LeBron is what 25 26 yrs old or something like that was Kobe as good of a player at 25 26 as LeBron is? No Kobe is at his peak he's not gonna play any better than he's playing right now & LeBron is already better than him & he still has miles 2 go Kobe stans just refuse 2 get over the fact that their beloved Kobe is #2 & will be 4 the rest of his carrer

Ok if I'm Lebron James, and I'm picking a new team based on the contributions on this I'm either going to Miami or Atlanta. Brisco sells a great portrait of "Life" in Miami, and Cannon well does what he does best.

I sure do hope Lebron goes to the Knicks! I have been a Knicks fan for all my life...BUT I have been a Garnett fan since I saw him in High School! So GO F*CKIN BOSTON CELTICS! If Garnett was there last year, they would be 3-Peating right now...Anyway,
This song is pretty Hot. I like the message to Lebron, and the beat is cool too. BANGER! Jada Kills this!
