Four years after his ‘04 sophomore album, Kiss of Death, D-Block leader Jadakiss is entering a new stage in his recording career. Having left his former distribution home at Interscope to sign a new deal with Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam, the Yonkers native is preparing the release of his third solo album, tentatively titled Kiss My Ass. Bringing more of his signature raspy, punchline-filled flow to the table, ‘Kiss shows that he’s still got what made him so popular with the new street single, Bang Bang. Alongside an emotional hook from Rashad and production that sounds like RPG fight scene music, Bang Bang should whet fans’ appetites until the official single drops. Kiss My Ass is currently set to drop before the end of the year.
Jadakiss is back huh? Nice. This production is pretty dope. It's definitely different. Jadakiss brought the same old classic flow. I've been a subconscious fan of his for a little minute. The hook isn't superb, but it's decent. I'll throw this in rotation.
Ay y'all, it's M.Burmy's 21st birthday today (June 6). Hit him up on his MySpace ( http://www.myspace.com/mburmyakadjjunior ) and tell him Happy Birthday!
Yall Rember when this cat got mad a car that cut him off. And so he got out of his car and got in front of this car and threw napkins at the driver, startling him to accell on the gas and break Jada's legs. That was funny son. This song is booty.
Nutty y u bring that up? lol Jada is my man! This song is not his best. I would like to hear him switch his flow up alil. Not completly reinvent himself, but experement with different rythems to his flow. You can take this verse and place it on any one of his old beats. This is cool. I like this production here, but the hook is weak.
If the song’s title doesn’t give you a hint on how to rate it, then the FRESH production should! If that’s still not enough, Jadakiss Bang Bang your mind away with his delivery!
its funny how i mention jada days ago and here is a new song from him(booth your on point)... im on the fence with this song it not the best but it not the worst, but im just happy to hear jada back in the game, oh yeah i like the production also
When was the last time I heard Jadakiss? Seems like forever, probably that guest verse on Freeway's "Walk Wit Me". Anyway this beat is some fire, synthy and unique, then going to a toned down effect of atmospheric synths and banging bass. Kiss brings that solid flow and I'm feelin this. Rashad (what happened to his debut??) was decent on the hook, but I'm feelin the topic of the track. Good to hear Kiss back.
Production is OK on here and Jada is capable of MUCH MUCH more than this. I don't think I would play this track again, so I can't put it in Rotation. The whole DBLOCK camp are GREAT, but this song just isn't...
The production would be best used for a track for the ladies. Do like a club track on this beat right here.
Jadakiss is still a dope MC. the lyrics are still there, but nothing special
It's honestly just great to hear Jadakiss again, so I don't care that this isn't his best. I don't care much for Rashad's voice, you could replace him with plenty of other singer's on this hook.
Really feelin the song and the flow until the hook comes along... It doesnt sound right to me.. They should have had someone else sing the hook.. The transistion to the hook does not coincide with the rest of the song.
yo this is hot... the only thing wrong with it is the put together with the hook... don't get me wrong I like Rashad but his part of the song is pointless... should of done suttin else... 4 for Jada a 2 for the chorus!
Kiss is back.lost a little of his punch.Solid though. Is it just me,or does him and fab seem to be headed into nas territory where there rockin mostly off of earlier work.
