Jadakiss - By My Side ft. Ne-Yo

After his new street record, Who Run This, received an underwhelming response from our DJBooth community, rapper Jadakiss decided he was done playing around.  Alongside label mate and R&B man of the hour Ne-Yo, as well as Kanye West collaborator Eric Hudson (see Flashing Lights), J-to-the-mwah has released his first official single as a Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam artist.  By My Side, which shouldn’t be confused with his previously-released banger By Your Side, is an attempt by Kiss to appeal to his female-oriented, radio-requesting audience.  Though longtime LOX and D-Block followers might be disappointed with the selection, a hardcore New York street image doesn’t equate to mainstream commercial success.  Jadakiss will release his third solo album, Kiss My Ass, later this year; will you be by his side?
