Last month, we featured the first record in Michigan-based label FrontStreet Records52/50 Campaign, on which emcee Dux Jones expressed his desire to Make A Flick with a lady he spotted in the club.  Though the cut had plenty of potential, the DJBooth peanut gallery delivered “thumbs-up” and “thumbs-down” reviews in equal measure. In the newest installment, Flick‘s supporting actor, Flint representative JAB, continues in the previous entry’s pop-ready vein, offering to make a certain female feel Alright if she leaves her lame ol’ man behind.  J Strode‘s Autotuned hook and in-house producers The Skouts’ synth-heavy beat should be enough to ensure a better-than-Alright reception in the upscale clubs; unfortunately, Booth-heads’ computers don’t usually come with top-of-the-line loudspeakers, so this record may well elicit another round of mixed reviews.  Hopefully, any club DJs who may be listening will recognize this record’s potential and put it in its proper environment.

Hey-who you refering to as the 'peanut gallery'? LOL Anyway...

This track really isn't for me. The production is thin and unimaginative. The vocals and melody were far below average, and the flow didn't even really sound good over the production. IMO there is no hit potential whatsoever in this particular track. The Peanut Gallery has spoken.

I disagree, I see hit potential here. This dude has a lot of potential - real cool summer vibe here. (I tend to put a lot of songs into that category, haha. I love cruisin in the summertime though) I like this one, rotation.

Ha, the peanut gallery has just begun, Juanito.

This track does have that summer club potential. I don't know how much rotation it'll get for the masses, but for me this will definitely be blarin' out of my car come summer time. Until then, however, it's gonna be at the bottom of my playlist. I like this. It's going to be Bnger in a couple of months, so I'm going to call it Banger now.

wow they both went hard on this.
beat is simple and kind of has a 90s feel to it (kinda like "this is how we do it" by montell jordan type music)
anyway rotation.

The production & the melody is catchy with all of the synthy and club beats popular nowadays... & the hook is niiice!... With dis beat & better than average rhymes for a club song, radio and the clubs are going to love it... Rotation

I always love to read the feedback threads on the records that garner 1's 3's and 5's. I have a feeling that will be this thread (based on the early results). The production is average, but both JAB and Strode do the most they can over it. JAB's flow is nothing outstanding, but he sticks to the script without trying to do too much.

Overall, VERY impressed with Mr. Strode. Your plane is boarding, son.

Production is OK. Both artists sounded good and the hook was decent. Overall, it's in rotation.

This song is really catchy. I don't think it has got pretensions to be fresh and innovative, but I enjoy listening to it, it makes me move. I liked how dudes sounded, above all Strode in his verse. In rotation
