Ja Rule opts for Lil’ Wayne and label mate Merce Montana over a female R&B singer on the buzz single, Uh Ohh. Oddly enough, the production is anti-anything fans have come to expect from Ja (since his Venni Vetti Vicci album) and yet it still doesn’t sound fitting for the New York rapper. Scheduled for release this October, The Mirror will be Ja Rule’s first studio album since 2004’s disappointing R.U.L.E.. The lead single off the album will be the Ashley Joi duet, Body, which will be released to radio on July 24th.
1 word: horrible. This beat is simply annoying. Does anyone know why he never officially released the song 'Free' as a single with a video? That song was dope and 100x better than this.
I've been waiting for Ja to step back up since Rule 3:36 but this isn't it. This track is garbage all the way around. Ja is still trying to hold onto a persona that no one believes anymore. Lil Wayne has the hottest verse on the track (can't say I'm surprised) and it’s even weak for what I've come to expect from him. Like everyone has said, the track is horrible. Imagine someone speeding up the sounds from a Pac-Man game and then throwing a beat on top of it. It's that basic and that annoying. MAYBE... (extremely big maybe) if the vocals are laid over another track this might be salvageable but I really can't see this hittin anybody's charts.
Smh...This is some bullshit lol. Lil' Wayne kills it as always, but I don't even think "The Fireman" can hold this track up. This track needs TWO miracles. DTP is right. This sounds like Pac-Man gone bad. Hope he got betta songs in the bag by the time his album drops, or Ja rule needs to say "Uh Ohh" to his career buddy...
yea dis @*#$! is mad annoyin! soon as da beat dropped i was ready 2 turn it off but i had 2 give my baby a chance! sadly enough he let me down once again! poor baby i really wish he coild make a good comeback but 4rm wat i've heard so far im not impressed.
All I can do isz shake my head on disz one. I mean, I didn't expect dat much outt of Ja Rule or Weezy to begin with, but disz isz juss...garbage...plain garbage.
Lil wayne of course did his thang. But me im all bout tha beat. Why u ask cuz it saves the rest of tha song from itz shallow lyrics and idiotic unoriginality. I will say JA iz gud but the beat man coulda dun wayyyy betta.
