On J The S’ last feature and current single, the Boston up-and-comer announced his intent to party till the sun burned out and the angels fell out of the sky, unconcerned as to whether he’d live to see the next day. Well, the emcee’s still alive, the sun’s right there where we left it, and I haven’t seen any heavenly beings dropping from the clouds – thus, Jake’s back to give the ‘world-ending revelry’ theme another spin with the official remix of The Last Party. While M-Phazes’ funky, reader-acclaimed boardwork and Jadakiss’ guest contribution are retained from the original, the three brand new verses make this retread well worth a listen. After fellow Bostonian Dre Robinson‘s opener, the headliner steps up to the mic to spit a few new bars, and West Coast revivalist/Booth favorite Nipsey Hussle rounds the track out with a breathless, characteristically impressive third verse. If you think TLP sounds just as fresh the second time around, keep it locked to the Booth. Though J The S’ Last Days LP still has yet to receive a release date, you can rest assured that we’ll bring you all the latest.

I enjoyed the original and nothing is different on this remix. The hook is smooth, the beat is equally as smooth, and Nipsey/Dre's new contributions stand out. Rotation, without a dobut.

@Riley03 - Jada "messes" with these artists because he doesn't think they are "clowns" and because paper is paper.

I think this is a tricky beat to rap over. Yea it bangs, but without a strong flow, you get lost. The first 2 artists were awkward, but Nipsy and Jada were nice

On the production side, you don't get a lot of bangos on a track like this, interesting touch. And while it's not on the top of my list, this is a good party jam that still brings some lyrical skill. Good times.
