If you’ve been paying attention to J. NiCS’ Booth features to date, you already know the Panhandle State emcee is From the South and proud of it. In case anyone missed the memo, though, this new freestyle should set the record straight. Here, Mr. Lee‘s mellow boardwork (complete with chopped-n-screwed hook) sets the stage for rhymes dripping with Southern pride. NiCS’ forthcoming EP, Souther N*ggas Aint Slow, has yet to receive a drop date; in the meantime, those who haven’t copped it already can hear more on the artist’s Champion Rizla mixtape, available here for streaming and download.

I like this because its smooth, and he's got a cool quality to his voice, but its not my favorite. I give it a solid 3-stars.
