J. Cole - See It To Believe It
Artist: J. Cole
Producer: J. Cole
Album: Unreleased
Label: Roc Nation/Columbia
As soon as our peeps at 2DopeBoyz premiered this unreleased J. Cole song, See It To Believe It, we knew we had to share it with the Booth. As usual, Cole gives us a glimpse of his life over one of his signature gloomy instrumentals that gives me the chills. Vocally he rhymes about his pre-Roc Nation deal life with no clothes in his closet and making songs in his bedroom, then promises of his upcoming reign as an emcee, telling an unnamed shorty to “come and kick it with a ni**a on his way to the top.” And Cole knows we’re still waiting on that ebut album (no, this won’t be on it) ‘cause he makes a quick reference to taking too long, but then affirms that we f**k with him nonetheless. You’re right, we’re waiting Cole. Impatiently.

Cole never disappoints. Love the word play and love the stories that he tells in his songs and this song is no different. Cole just needs to get this debut album or, as said in the review, ebut album done. If tracks like this aren't making the cut, then I can't wait to see what is on there that we haven't heard yet

Classic COLE!!!...DOPE beat, content was amazing, and an awsome hook. The violin in the back ground seems to be having a make out session with th bass line on this record lol. safe to say he made up for "Disusting"...GREAT RECORD!!

Seriously enjoyed the melodic and catchy flow/chorus from J. Cole. Production could have been better, but it meshed well with Cole.
