Released to the ‘net in July, J. Cardim‘s latest street album found the Booth-approved beatsmith hooking up with a wide variety of hip-hop’s best and brightest talents, from established heavyweights to relative unknowns; arguably the dopest surprise on the entire project, however, was the collision of Southern megastar Ludacris and the late, great Ol’ Dirty Bastard on the freaky All of the Time. Over Cardim’s deceptively complex instrumental, driven by stark percussion and spacey layered synths, the collaborators pay tribute to the females who keep them wanting it on a nearly constant basis. As usual, Luda tackles the risque subject matter with peerless panache, spitting the praises of an independent woman by the name of Anna (from Alabama, naturally), but Big Baby Jesus takes the cake on this one; rumored (may I repeat, rumored) to be ODB’s final recorded work before his death, the Wu-Tang alum’s contributions find him in characteristically raunchy, entertaining form. Those craving more from Cardim and company can download The In Crowd for free here – or, purchase the tagless version from iTunes via this link.

I have NO CLUE how this came together with Luda and ODB's business estate, but I am sure glad it did. While I don't love the final product as much as my DJBooth colleague Nathan S. (he e-mailed and text me about how much he loves this record, playing it on repeat for hours and hours), I do find it wildly entertaining.

THis is crazy. It feels like they remixed Ridin by Chamillionaire and a Diddy song. When the song got to 4:02 seconds I was really feeling this. Maybe it is just me but this has great potential with the guys and maybe (not) the radio will play it.

Before i pressed play i was wondering if this song wud come anywhere close to Cardim's last track "On It" which was hella dope. After hearing this tho it comes pretty damn close. Props to Cardim on the production.

Audio crack. Pure and simple. As Z said, I first heard this when The In Crowd dropped and I had it on repeat for days. I'm a All the Time junkie. There's just something about this one that's addictive.
"She had a body kinda like a horse, if you know what I mean." God I miss ODB. R.I.P. |

Thank you DJbooth for another wise purchase.Ill be spinning this next week for my Hamster-set. The song is very good, and I could spin this in the Club(HipHop) or the Disko(Electronic) This is why I love this website. I don't know how you guys manage to find good underground hip-hop music that is SOOO mixable/spinnable. W/E the reason keep it coming!

These are the same verses used on Blakroc "Coochie" what a disappointment, but still a nice song.

The direction in production didn't work here at all. Luda is really earning a bad reputation for jumping on any track.
