Don’t think of Booth newcomer J. Appiah as broke; think of him as a millionaire waiting to happen. On new promotional single I Aint Rich… Yet, the unsigned crooner pleads with a love interest to “bear with me” as he lays the groundwork for his impending superstardom. With the sincerity and vocal presence he showcases over O.D. Hunte‘s breezy, acoustic guitar-led production, it’s tough not to believe in his forecasts of fame and fortune. But enough out of me—do you think this UK up-and-comer’s got the talent and drive to climb to the upper echelons of the game? If you’re leaning toward the affirmative, keep it locked; this joint isn’t currently attached to any forthcoming project, but we’ll keep you posted on Appiah’s plans in the weeks and months ahead.

If he consistently puts out feel-good, catchy tunes then yes, I can definitely bear with him. I might maul the replay button on this one (ba-dum-chh).
