Last week’s release of Madden NFL ‘09 marked the 20th anniversary of the video game. Additionally, it marked the first time that millions of players came into contact with DJBooth favorites such as Kardinal Offishall, Kidz in the Hall, and Wale, all of whom made the game’s soundtrack. Also featured by the good people at EA Sports is Timbaland/Soul Diggaz protégé (and DJBooth member) Izza Kizza, whose amped-up anthem Millionaire was a no-brainer inclusion. Thanks to his creative delivery and far-out wordplay, Kizza finds himself in a league of his own. Producer Koolade deserves a pat on the back as well for his startling, percussion-heavy beat. For non-video gamers who enjoy Millionaire, it is also available on the rappers’s new Kizzaland mixtape (available for free download) and will be featured on his major debut, Mr. Next Year EP, released this fall.
This just sounds like a bunch of annoying noise and I'd be heated if I had to listen to this all while browsing through Madden doing stuff. This production is just LOUD for no reason and Izza Kizza isn't helping the cause.
The Timbo influence in Koolade's beat and even Kizza's flow over it is very evident. That is a good thing. I can see how this type of production/sound isn't their thing... Kizza himself admitted to us in an interview that his sound is very "left." Take a second listen, though, you might realize that it catches on a lil...
The song itself sucks but the production ain't bad, come on! The beat is cool, I'm already moving to it lol! The title says it all anyway, I'm fed up with these money songs...I'm starting to think rappers are more material than others!
I HAVE NO IDEA Y THIS IS RATED THIS NOW ....
