Izza Kizza - Freestylapalooza
Artist: Izza Kizza
Producer: Fareed
Album: The Wizard of Iz Mixtape (w/ DJ Catchdubs)
Label: Unsigned
The fifth entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes to us courtesy of Izza Kizza, the far-out emcee whose performance at NYC’s Pianos last Wednesday was covered by our own Erica L.. Izza, who spits over original production by Fareed on the brand new Freestylapalooza, has a packed schedule for the first half of ‘09: before this month is over, he will premiere his I’m the Izza Kizza video, and fans can expect his new The Wizard of Iz mixtape with DJ Catchdubs, as well as two new videos (Ooh La la and They’re Everywhere) in mid-March. It all leads up to the release of Kizza’s yet-untitled debut LP, due out in late May via Mosely Music/Interscope.

I've been loving this freestyle series, but I;ve never been a fan of Izza Kizza. His flow was pretty solid, but the production is average but I didn't really connect and vibe with this.
Rate on these songs people! |

The production is mediocre and it sounds good but at the same time it sounds weak. I love how he switched his speed midway gotta give him props on that. Flow is solid and so is his rhymes. Its still a ok song nothing really stands out

As this series moves along, I really hope that our members can focus more on the freestyle (wordplay, flow, flair, etc...) than the production that they choose to flow over.
Honestly, Kizza snapped. This is 3 minutes of lyrical ammunition. Thanks, partna. |

DAMN! That was pretty bad right there! My lady actually thought that it was someone playing around while I played it out loud. The beat is bad, and his freestyle skills aren't up to par.

Izza's flow was sick midway through. Loved the quick switch up on the flow. Production wasnt that bad, I didnt feel it in the start but his flow compensated for that.
