I was born and raised in a 3rd World country--the poorest country/nation in the western hemisphere. I know about poverty, coup d'etat, homelessness, civil unrest, and violence. Immortal Technique is blowing up the underground hip-hop scene. After a five year hiatus, the hype surrounding this dude is still bigger than some mainstream artists. Most of the users who commented aren't familiar with IT's style. He is ALWAYS FURIOUS and that what makes him such an effective MC. This is just a preview for what Rock The Bells has to offer!!!

on point as always, nice to hear the production as urgent and intense as the content of the lyrics, thats not to say that his previous output wasnt any good either, but there is always room for improovement. and of course the subject matter is going to polarize, you either love tech or hate him. some people are too uniformed to know what the @*#$! hes talking about, some people just dont want to hear this shit. the realities of whats going on in this world, beyond whats in front of us, isnt the easiest shit to digest, and of course the urgency of what hes saying doesnt really have any trouble blasting through all the bullshit anybody else is talking about. another hit for technique, i cant wait to hear the rest

Immortal T. at least raps about real and true issues that are important and at the for front. I appreciate what he does. |
