Though Illogic is a new face to the DJBooth, he has actually been practicing the art of lyrical wordplay for more than ten years, releasing various EPs and LPs in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.  After a five-year hiatus, Illogic is back and ready to release his newest set of rhymes, Diabolical Fun, on March 24.  The first single, Let’s Go, shows that he hasn’t lost a step; over a jazzy beat from Ill Poetic, Illogic brings listeners some ill poetry (sorry, couldn’t resist), spitting lines that listeners will want to record in their quotebooks. Old-school fans will love it, and, given the direction the new school is going, they’ll find a lot to like as well.

Nice pun-age Mike. LOL

Ill Poetic's production goes hard. Now this CLOBBERED me immediately!

Illogic was pretty cool. It's definitely old school and for the heads. I can rock with it. I have to be truthful, the rapping wasn't super moving for me, but the vibe, production and the whole "hip hoppedness" of it all was fresh.

Not sure why a joint with stellar production from Ill Poetic isn't getting more feedback-love. Illogic is back.

Is this the same Illogic who had the song Angel about his girlfriend. He is pretty nasty, this track is a much different direction for him but I am feeling it.

Not that I like so much that oh oh oh he makes in the hook, but his flow is cool and the production is crazy...a typical club banger, full of energy!

Production is ridiculous on this one. Hook could def. use some work, but I'm a big fan of the rest of the song.
