2007 has been an extremely eventful year for Hip Hop. It has received the blame for Don Imus’ “nappy headed hos” comment and even the Virginia Tech shootings last spring. Religious leaders such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have denounced the genre, while artists like David Banner have actively supported the music form. Now whose turn is it? None other than legendary MC and actor, Ice Cube. On the first new leak from his upcoming untitled album, Cube feels that it has gotten to the point where anything negative turns into the scapegoat of Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It. When you get to the heart of it, Cube wants hip-hop music to share the blame instead of take the full load. Given Cube’s established celebrity status, expect the number of Hip Hop dissenters to fluctuate once the song reaches the masses.
Longevity is hard ot achieve in hip-hop and rappers always seem to loose their swagger as they get out of the streets. Ice Cube still got it! West Coassstttt! Snoop Dogg, throw away that "Sexual Eruption" and learn from the realist.
whateva this shyt hot, alot of rappers couldn't pull this off, so enough said this old rapper deserves his props cause no doubt about; he is a great rappper!

Ice Cube raps with so much intensity and energy in this song; He sounds mad. I thoroughly enjoyed his message over a simple beat. Great tune with an ol' school flavor.

This Song Is the sh**t I feel that Ice nailed that thang!! They want to blame everything on Hip Hop nowadays and they need to be lookin' at their parenting skillz or better yet those laws banning spanking. Spare the rod spoil the child and raise a destructive psycho!!!!
