Hurricane Chris is back and determined to prove that he’s no one-hit wonder (following the success of Ay Bay Bay, his debut album, 51/50 Ratchet, disappeared from the charts). Hoping to add another smash to his résumé, the Shreveport, Louisiana native has dropped She’s Fine, the first buzz record off his forthcoming sophomore album, Unleashed. The record features Hurricane and previously-unknown guest artist Superstar hollering at all the fine ladies who somehow remind them of Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry (contrary to some reports, the song does not share her name). With the help of a Play-N-Skillz beat, Hurricane and Superstar will undoubtedly bring all the fine ladies out onto the dance floor.

Just like mo city and UnLucky, I gotta agree. The production is a hit, and Chris is a better rapper than most give him credit for. I like the way he spits on here, it doesn't even remind me of the guy who sang Ay Bay Bay. 3/5.

I like this. I don't like as much as New Fashion or his other hits but it is something I could truly grow to. As the song goes on I grow to like it more. The chorus, I'm not crazy for it. Right now I am sick of Halle Berry. Other tahn pretty cool.

When we featured the new Baby Boy record yesterday, I said that it was better than anything on his entire debut. As far as HC's new single.... my thoughts haven't changed.
This is better than ANYTHING on his debut. And yes, that includes Ay Ay Baby. I am not sure if I like Chris or the PNS beat more... but together they work. This will KILL in the clubs... just wait.

This sounds like the classic Northern Louisiana Rap. If you are from Louisiana than you know what I'm talking about. For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about go study up on Louisiana artist such as The Short Bus Boyz, Boosie, Webbie, Lil Josh, Lil Ernest, I am not talking mainstream rap like Lil Wayne I mean this sounds nothing like that. This is that good underground Louisiana Rap. Seeing how Hurricane Chris is from the Shreveport area this has some Arkansas in it to. I really enjoy this song. The production pretty nice. I wish Chris would have stepped up his lyrics. Lately no one has been doing any good lyrics. That is the problem nowadays. Artist rely to much on the beat. They need to focus on what they say. This is a good song can't hate Northern Louisiana Rap.

hmm. this isn't really garbage to me. this is surprisingly not bad. production is cliche but it works. chris is...cliche as well, but he's funny and he delivers better than usual (not sayin much but it works).
i wouldn't purposely listen to this again, but if i heard it on the radio, i might wait like 10 or 15 seconds before i change it. 2.1 stars for me |

Ok first of all this is SupaSTAAR's song. This song been out for a lil while in dallas. Hurricane is on the remix with Tum Tum. But this is not Hurricanes song. Song is dope as hell by the way!!!

* Regardless of whose song it once was, it now belongs to Hurricane Chris. * It is not "old" - 99% of the nation hasn't yet heard it drop in a club or on their radios. * J Records is pushing the record effective THIS WEEK. ... and NO... the song is not entitled "Halle Berry."

Not trying to be a smart a$$...but how exactly can it once be superstars song and now it belongs to hurricane chris?? that makes know sense to me so hopefully you can answer...and it has been in rotation for awhile in texas so understand why we are callin it "old"...as for j records maybe they should not take the song from superstar and just push the "Halle Berry Remix" ft. Hurricane Chris and Tum Tum cuz its sick! Usually the songs I hear on are "new"...this just kind of disappoints me.

* Think of songs like stocks; they can be bought, sold and traded. The label bought the rights to the song for Chris to use as a single. Why? They probably saw what you are explaining - which is a boom in a local market. Outside of Texas, this song is new. * The reason why you call it the "Halle Berry" is because that is the nickname DJs gave it. * As for Superstar, I'm sure his feelings are not hurt. He was probably broken off pretty nice, and, he will achieve much more as a feature artist to Chris on a national single, rather than as the lead artist on a local-only song. Hope that helps....
