Case in point: Hurricane Chris’ Headboard, a newly-released single on which the young spitter, down-South affiliate Plies, and “Comeback Artist of ‘09” candidate Mario let the ladies know exactly what’s on their minds. Complete with an infectious beat by The Inkredibles this grown-and-sexy track would require a grip of censorship to win heavy radio rotation, but should sound right at home in the club, at the local strip joint, and in the bedroom. Sure to keep nightspots jumping and Headboards creaking across the nation, this freaky jam can be found on Chris’ Unreleased LP, set for release in the third quarter of ‘09.

this song just reminds me of Plies - Becky which was a terrible song, hook is catchy but is just stupid, this is just bad, anyone can make rhymes that they do in this, such a bad song but will prolly be popular

Definitely a club joint/ definitely southern.. Mario makes this song though.. Hurricane chris is good because he is original and has an original sound. i didnt hear plies in this song lol ??

this is definitely a nice collab
i agree with DJBChenk Mario was real Neat on the chorus and Hurricane Chris Did a Superb Job. But Plies has always been just ... plain ... Nasty .. to me and i 'm not going to criticize his rapping but Rap isn't just sex |

I guess this track serves its purpose, will def get Radio-spins once done censored. And Plies is born to rhyme on such tracks. Since Plies is in his subject matter safe zone, he supplies HIS audience with THEIR type of raps. But as it stands the hook and beat are what’s going to take this song to the top of the radio request lines ....

This is not who Hurricane Chris is. This record is a label-motivated decision. It will have a hard time working at radio without some record-deflating edits, and Chris' hardcore down south fans cannot be happy. Mario sounds great, but they knew what they were getting with him on the hook.

I agree with Z. Parents will squirm if this isn't heavily edited on the radio. Every other word would have to be cut or changed which would probably make it not even worth listening to by that point.

Plies wasn't needed at all....but does his Plies thing (whatever that may be) Hurricane Chris actually does ok.... If Plies' "becky" gets alot of radio play than this will get radio play but with alot of censorship!! |

Too much noise when put into headphones.
... Plies was the second verse. I think he sounds better. I don't think this sounds as addictive as A Bay Bay, or She's Fine, however though. Won't be my on my Most Played List, though... |

definately very tight... This is one of the best that hurricane has done and all of its true... he made a good choice by adding plies and mario unfortunately it wont get alot of radio play prolly cause of the language but its definately a banger! :-)
