Hunt - Tight Rope

In the race to become Tampa’s first major hip-hop artist (please sit down, Khia), rapper 2 Pistols and his J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-assisted She Got It recently took a step in the winning direction.  Previously introduced on the Bun B-assisted Gorilla Soldiers, however, Hunt is putting up a fight.  Unleashing the first single from his Hunt’n Season Part II mixtape, he compares his hood to a Tight Rope; make one false step and you fall to the ground.  Listeners will notice similarities to fellow Floridian, Rick Ross, most notably in Hunt’s lyrical pattern and Antwill Beats’ synth-heavy beat (knock knock, Runners).  That said, if She Got It can hit with its likeness to Plies’ Shawty, Tight Rope should be able to contend on the same charts.
