With so many up-and-coming artists are on their grind nowadays, it’s hard to get a foot in the door. Regardless, newly formed group Hot2Def attempts to stake its claim to the New York urban music throne with their new buzz single, Superstar. Ragged synths bring out scattered percussion on the Yessur-produced track, over which Hot2Def trade rhymes about their status in clubs, their spots in the VIP area, and the riches that they’ve gained from the rap game. While the up-tempo beat adds a hypnotic aura to their words, does it spruce up the song enough to garner superstar attention? Can Hot2Def succeed in becoming the megastars they hope to be? To find out, fans will have to wait a bit longer than the title of their album, One More Hour, as the disc is set to drop on November 24.

Yeah it's similar to sexy back, but I like more this beat. I don't like Sexy Back! It's a catchy song, it's in rotation for clubs

Very nice vibe, would work in the clubs in an early set before the crowd really packs the place. No points for originality or creativity, but performance is more than decent.

Not a big fan of this. Don't really care for the beat or for the group.
