Even though Lil’ Wayne’s long-anticipated, soon to be platinum album Carter III hasn’t been released yet, one of his lines is already being sampled on somebody else’s hook. Let us introduce that somebody else as G-Unit‘s Arizona representative, Young Hot Rod. Despite 50’s publicized problems with Weezy, Hot Rod saw no problem with using a line from the second verse of A Milli as the chorus on He’s A Beast. Borrowing his style as well, Hot Rod throws in a simile-laced verses, boasting that his flow’s ”so hot I fry bacon on it” and complains that biters are ”f*cking up my lines like a bad barber.” While sample clearances could prevent He’s A Beast from making Hot Rod’s long-delayed debut album, Fastlane, it does prove his ability to adapt to the big-name’s style. In any case, how well he matches up to Weezy is for the audience to judge.
Right when this beat started I knew that this was gonna be hot. Then Weezy drops the chorus and makes it fire! Hot @$$ $hit! Hot Rod needs to get some love. Def BANGER
no,
i really thought this song was goin be hot..
but its not.
im with BDF44 on the beat being annoying. and i think wayne's hook was decent,
but Hot Rod's part was lackin.
Hot production work by Chinky P, I like the use of the sample. Somehow I feel as though Wayne's popularity is going to take a nose dive now, though,(if you don't know why, google him) so the collabo's are going to decrease pretty soon people. Get used to hearing the sampled work.
This doesnt work to well with me. The beat sounds like an alarm clock after you've heard it too long and it changes tones with a beat. I dont like this that much....
If you bump the beat and get funk in ur chest to bounce then it's gravy. But if it's makin ur ears hurt...chuck dat sh1t out the window. I go for the latter.
Who iz dis nigga? Gud 2 c a new rapper without a t-pain ft. Wayne shudda signed dis dude instead uf Gay-unit. Gud lyrics al da way thru. Anybody got mo info on dis dude?
I'll admit that I probably wouldn't have checked this guy out if I saw he was signed to G-Unit. But this beat is tight. The siren is annoying to some but enjoyable to others. His lyrics are decent so its not all that bad. Idk why you guys rating Weezy on this song. Its just a sample from one of his songs...which means he didn't contribute anything in the booth. So yeah. I'll keep my eye out for this guy. BANGER!!
I disagree Z! Weezy's In rehab!!!! Praise God! If my nigga ain't get some help he was gon end up like the rest of these rock star types. DEAD! This man has the ears of the country right now. He needs to recognize his power over this generation. Not only the money to be made but the lives he can change and the classic music that is ahead of him. Songs like "I feel like dying" and "Me and my Drank" show the self destructive side of the Mc that his real fans want him to get rid of. Tracks like "Georgia Bush" and "Tie my Hands" display the spirit of this young man in a time where Afro Americans are being heard more than ever. His popularity is so strong in a time very important to US. People listen to weezy. He too smart to be thrownin his life away. Big up to weezy! Yall need to encourage the nigga to keep it up. Let the light in my dude shine! That's the Carter real niggas see. BDF
I can honestly say that this track is LEGIT. Hot Rod outdid himself on this track; he didn't even need the Lil' Wayne sample on this track, although one can never go wrong with a Weezy sample or feature. From now on, I expect quality music from Hot Rod.
The song was kraz i cnt believe nobody top that yet i think it's the ***** wat u think i would say maybe because lil wayne was on the joint but without him it was still fresh i dnt care wat nobody say
This sounds terrible. Usually the ratings are pretty spot on but I'm very surprised that the average rating is above three stars right now. I don't know, maybe I'm hatin on this but nothing about this song works for me.
i usually agree with what u guys put but idk how u guys like this, weak beat, his voice too loud and not great for the beat, sample is aight but nothin special.... i'd say its just ok. "i like louie so i buy stock in dat, i get sick of louie so i sell my stock in dat"... wut the
Yo this Chinky P Man. I agree to i sent the beat to Hot Rod as ruff draft. but he got on it but i was gonna change the synth on it but it was already all over the internet the next day. So my fault if ya'll dont like the beat. but u can check me out some more www.myspace.com/chinkypthepro
