Island Urban’s debut artist Hot Dollar returns with his second single, Sidekick, from his upcoming debut album, My Dreams… A Day in the Life. A typical track “for the ladies” that almost all rappers seem to concoct, the West Coast native has his eye on a certain lady and offers to show her the finer things in life (including his Side Kick.) Although the theme is somewhat cliché, and the nasally-pitched hook is somewhat annoying, the song should be popular nonetheless among Hot Dollar’s young (mainly female) target audience.
