Hot Dollar - Night Life (We Up In the Club)

Once again we find Hot Dollar where we last saw him… trying to solidify a release date for his debut album, My Dreams…A Day in the Life in the face of Def Jam‘s constantly fluctuating calendar.  Despite releasing several buzz singles over the last year, a lack of chart presence hasn’t slowed down the dual Hattiesburg, Mississippi/Compton native.  On Night Life (We Up In the Club), Dollar puts together a winning combination of an autotuned chorus and a club-ready beat by DJ Khalil, and the track is complete with a reference to Ace of Spades, a favorite liquor of Def Jam‘s former president.  To make a long story short, if Night Life is chosen as the next official single, it should have no problem fitting into the current radio landscape (so long as it receives proper promotion).  Keep it locked to DJBooth.net for further information.  (Shouts to DJ Ill Will!)
