Having the ability to dish out Top 40 choruses like Rubio throwing alley oops while still being able to maintain a Hip Hop enthusiast’s attention has always been a challenge for many rappers. Often, these breakthrough attempts end up on the brink of bubble gum pop or a failed attempt at a catchy hook resulting in pure Autotuned disaster. Recently, a Jewish rapper has been able to maintain that balance and, believe it or not, his name isn’t Aubrey Graham. Hoodie Allen is that artist, and sure enough he was able to pull it off (again) on his latest single No Interruption. Produced by RJF, No Interruption is a bouncy and layered record that allows Hoodie to give us all some useful advice; top of the list, make sure you neve date a girl you found on Craigslist. On the extremely catchy hook, Hoodie explains to his favorite girl (or OPP) that he’ll be more than glad to fulfill whatever needs she has. It’s only a matter of time before Hoodie lands a Top 40 hit, but until then he’s dropping off his debut EP, All American, on April 10.

I think Hoodie Allen is pretty talented. I'll give him some props for the flow, singing, and the video... Not my type of song at the end of the day though...

The video is solid, but the record is more than that. This could easily be played several times an hour at radio. Not that anyone likes when a song is played several times an hour at radio, but I am just saying... its that catchy.

kinda poppy...
I guess it's that kinda track that you either listen to a dozen of times a day for a week or not at all... Gon throw it into the rotation and see how it works out. |

This video has been out for no more than 4 days now and already has over 300k hits, that says it all. Hoodie keeps impressing song after song and is well on his way to the big time. Probably my favorite artist that has yet to hit it big, keep doin' your thing Hoodie!

It was pretty dope, think it's weird that this is on the charts but Kinetics and One Loves Butterfly Effect isn't though, maybe I'm not navigating the site properly.
