While Soulja Boy and Hurricane Chris blew up this past summer, Collipark Music‘s other artists have sat on the backburner. Taking his career into his own hands, rapper Homebwoi has decided to do the independent thing and release the new single Roll Roll Roll. A carbon copy of the Flo Rida and T-Pain chart-topper Low; Homebwoi will be hard-pressed to turn Roll Roll Roll into a hit as Low is still on the charts. If audience’s are primarily seeking originality (clearly a factor with Soulja Boy’s success), Homebwoi’s debut album No Place Like Home might have a chance at marketability.
The first part of the hook is the only thing that is similar to "Low," other than that this is just another one of those generic booty songs. I can see this on the radio, the rhythm of the production and his flow are catchy.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Could this become the lowest rated song in DJBooth history? Al least Homebwoi will be number one in something.
Homebwoi... came from the same place where Hurrican Chris's A Bay Bay and Soulja Boy's Crank Dat came from, i wasnt expecting much and got nothin. Homebwoi is just another one hit banger but without the hit and the banger more like one @*#$! maker.
