Many would argue that New York isn’t necessarily ‘where it all started,’ but rather where it was first recognized.  That however is a discussion for another time, a time in which you aren’t listening to the new Hi-Tek produced masterpiece.  The lyrical abilities of MCs such as Jadakiss, Talib Kweli and Papoose are first, second, and third to almost none (Unless Jay-Z and Rakim were on the cut, I’d change my statement).  During a time in which the state of hip-hop on the east coast has been challenged, it’s safe to say there is ‘plenty to go around.’

This is HOT! The hook is great, creative. But the best part about this song is the rapping. It gets better and better. Tek, Talib, Pap and Jadakiss all deliver on this. Its rare where all the rappers spit fire on one song. Classic Northeast song.
