Preparing the third installment of his successful Hi-Teknology series, acclaimed producer Hi-Tek knows the first single needs to be something Hip Hop audiences can remember. Consequently the Cincy native chose My Piano as the lead; complete with a classical piano-string combination to add an extra effect to singer Dion‘s already-memorable chorus. For the verses, Tek throws in an electric guitar tune powerful enough to put the Shop Boyz to shame and inspire some classic lyricism from Wu-Tang’s Ghostface and Raekwon. For further demonstration in the art of proper production, pick up Hi-Teknology 3 on December 11th.
Hi-Tek is mos def stepping his game up. He has grown so much from Reflection Eternal days and now we see him hooking up with the Wu! This track is undoubtedly something new but it is not his best.
This Is A Hit..Gotta lOve Dis Rakwon Tore It All Up Wit Da Energy And All, Hi-Teks Prod. Skills Cant Be Doubted Was That Him On Tha Piano In The Beginning?FIRE!!
Hi-Tek has to be one of the most underrated producers in the game, unfortunately he just can't rap. Ever since Reflection Eternal he's been trying to prove he can rhyme, the sad truth is he needs to stay behind the boards.
The track begins at Ghostface's verse. He Comes out HARD and KILLS IT!
Weak verse from Rae though.
The beat is fire, expected from a producer that doesn't ffuc around.
the piano notes iiz hot...but ii think they should play them more often through the song. The lyrics iiz str8 wack -shrugz- ii actually like the chorus tho.
