Making up half the Mobb Deep duo, Havoc is finally taking his first stab at being a solo artist (following behind his counterpart Prodigy who is working on releasing his third solo album). On his first single, I’m The Boss, from his upcoming album The Kush, Havoc did more than spit lyrics into the mic – he also produced the beat. With all these skills at work, it is no wonder Havoc has had such an effect on the industry the last two decades. The Kush will be available on September 18th.
I treated this song just like suge treat new talent. give you 15 sec to rap if i don’t like what i heard i would punch your ass in the face. too bad he’s not right here. oh yea, stop producing too. my daughter step on my phone and made a better beat with the keypad than that s***.
Very few people still appreciate that real hardcore hip hop, but this is what the game needs right now. That dark and dirty sound needs to comeback. Im feelin this joint.
no… this is not what is needed. what needed is more on the sense of chamillionaire, eminem, nas (without a dictionary), dmx, fugees, outkast, ice cube, music. music that has substance. And a purpose. He’s just a guy who has enough money to buy studio time. nothing he made influenced anyone and if it did it was probably for a robbery attempt. cancel this guy career
rico sean are you insane, mobb deep is probably one of the most influential rap duos after eric b/rakin, epmd or gangstarr.
mobb deep (pre-gunit) is mad tight.
however, this song is nothing special
