Port-au-Prince native and current Daytona Beach resident Haitian Fresh has gained a strong fan base the old-fashioned way—that is, with his big smile and even bigger heart. Already signed to Wyclef Jean‘s Sak Pasé Records, such an appeal has led to his signing with hip-hop’s best-known independent distributor, Koch Records. Following the indie success of his previous single, Gon’ Jock, Mr. Haiti moves ahead with a strip club follow-up, Dancin’ with No Panties On. Although Fresh is credited as the lead artist, he only contributes twelve bars; former Pretty Ricky lead singer, Pleasure P, provides most of the vocals (auto-tune included) and producer CP Hollywood supplies the beat. The emcee’s debut album, Haitian Fresh: Mr. Haiti, has a planned late 2008 release.
Its got potential in the strip clubs, maybe for the opening acts LOL, but I dont see this getting much airplay besides that. But I guess its not a real single so there ya go! Pleasure has been in a pretty good number of guest features since leaving PR, he's pretty tight as a solo artist. Song here is ok, nothing too cool but a nice beat.
Strip club music. I'm bias cause my baby is haitian. Sak Pase NENA! This song is banging but the content is week so it looses a star, I'd play it though.
This song will always have a home at the club, the strip club, and my buddy Kyle's apartment. PP does he thing on the vocals, but I would have liked to hear WAY more of Haitian Fresh. Looking forward to hearing more from his debut album.
