For what seems like years (really only 17 months), folks around the Booth have asked (and begged) for more southern emcees to take part in our series. While we extend invites to rappers everyone (overseas, too), we cannot control who chooses to take part and who does not.
Thankfully, our invite to GP didn't go un-responded to and in the end we have a gutter, gruff, dirty down south freestyle that might just be our new unofficial theme song! |

Grip's been making more and more noise on the scene lately, and it's tracks like this freestyle that's earning him a following. It won't be for everyone, but if you dig that banging, Southern trap style, there's no way you won't be turning up the volume on this one.

"Unofficial theme song"...it sounds like one, yall should keep it. It's a little too much on the slow side for a freestyle though. Props to Gripp for making the submission.

Not for me. I do however like Southern Rap, just not this particualar one. Great idea DJ Z to have more of it though. This attempt is bland, and lack luster. The verses just went on, and on too. I was ready to cut it off about half way though.
