When it comes to women, every guy has his type. For some, the defining features are hard to pinpoint – such is not the case for Gorilla Zoe. If you want to see what the Southern rapper’s ideal female looks like, all you’ve got to do is look in his driveway. As he explains on the lead single off his forthcoming junior album, he likes ‘em “Just Like My Chevy.” Over Michael “Money Karlo” Macon‘s street-ready production, the artist lists off the many ways in which his favorite girl resembles his equally-beloved whip: “She’s dancin’ real tall, her grill real bright, she got something in her trunk and she’s lookin’ real nice…” For verse two, West Coast legend Snoop Dogg jumps on board to share some auto-erotic musings of his own, waxing poetic about his girl’s gleaming paint job and luxurious… um… interior. Whether you share the collaborators’ affection for drop-top Chevys or just enjoy a good trunk-banger, you won’t want to miss the colossal tunes Gorilla Zoe is set to showcase on his King Kong LP, scheduled to drop this fall via Block/eOne/Atlantic.

If I could create, in my head, the stereotypical Gorilla Zoe banger, I think I could have come up with "Just Like My Chevy." Seriously.

I like most of his work but this is just lazy. Zoe has a distinct voice and needs to be more creative.

Great points. Zoe has a real unique voice and a decent flow. His material isn't up to par with his talent. I'll continue to bump "Untamed Gorilla" in the meantime.

I think Snoop shoes the potential this has to be a real dope smoothed out west coast track.
That was a backwards way of saying Zoe's nothing special. I have to agree with Young Swish - it's a pretty forgettable track, but I doubt even Zoe had high aspirations for this one.

one thing cant be denied, Zoe knows catchy music. i love Zoe's voice, but this is song is jus ight. i agree its pretty forgettable.

This sounds like something from the Trill Ent. family. I could hear Lil' Boosie or Webbie on this not Gorilla Zoe. and Snoop was below average on this one. But I have to give it two stars for the beat.

Finally Gorilla Zoe stopped singin - at least on this track. Not that I'm against Rappers turning singers but there must be a talent to sing. And Gorilla has the perfect voice to rap...
