Glasses Malone - #Rihanna
Artist: Glasses Malone
Producer: King Dave
Album: Glass House
Label: Suburban Noize/Cash Money
With his epically-delayed debut studio album, Beach Cruiser, finally out on store shelves as of August 2011, Glasses Malone has buckled down to work on a new street album. On #Rihanna, the latest leak off the forthcoming project, King Dave serves up a minimal, synth-driven beat to back the artist as he uses the Bajan singer’s 2009 domestic violence incident as a metaphor for his bedroom technique. Too soon? I’ll let y’all decide. Either way, keep it locked for the latest tunes leading up to the yet-unscheduled release of G. Malone’s next mixtape, Glass House.

The chorus will be found catchy and the beat will be enjoyed in a club setting, but the subject matter doesn't allow me to fully enjoy the record. No matter how long ago the incident between Brown and Rihanna occurred.

This definitely is catchy, and the production you will expect to hear in the clubs and radio, but nothing was that good off this one.
