Think you know everything there is to know about Glasses Malone? Think again. On the latest radio single off his long, long, long-awaited debut set, the West Coast emcee drops a bombshell that’ll have listeners picking their lower jaws off the floor: “I Get Doe.” Well, OK, that may not exactly be breaking news, but it’s hard to care when the track is this freaking catchy. Here, Club Love duo The Cataracs serve up a sugary, piano-led beat (anyone else hear a little Let It Be in there?) as Glasses exercises his gruff flow, giving us the lowdown on his paper chase, his car collection, and his inability to control his bowels (no, I am not making that last part up). Topped off with a hook that will most likely be stuck in my head for the next several weeks (also by the Cataracs), Doe is most definitely a new look for G. Malone. Will its bubblegum-pop appeal finally earn Beach Cruiser a spot on store shelves? It seems very possible, but we won’t know for sure till this summer.

I honestly thought someone was playing a practical joke on me when they sent over this new G. Malone single.

There was not way the WC banger could churn our a poppy, radio-friendly record that appeals to Top 40 but still stayed somewhat hood. Right?

Wrong. Just listen haha.

Glasses Malone in pop?! how that happen lol...hook/smook why does music suck these days...i feel he tried to do this track just to get paid and he is not being true to his self....what a sellout and i don't support sellouts...it would be cool if this song was tight but cmon so cliche, the hook can eat S H I T...so disappointment!!!

Damn, @LeWy and I are on the same page tonight. I'm all for artists branching out, so props to Glasses for exploring new territory, but I just couldn't get into this. The pieces are individually nice, but they don't fit into a coherent whole.

I can see this making a bit of buzz, but not that great of a song. I hate the chorus.

It's not something that you would expect Malone to spit to, and, unsurprisingly, voice and cadence don't entirely mesh with the beat. Oddly, but I do actually like the combination - its surprisingly enjoyable. The overly emotional vocal delivery of hook and beat are hard to resist.

Not as strong as its influences (Live Your Life/All The Above), the song should do at least average on the radio.

I loved the vocals in this song. I know its hard to tell if people can really sing these days with autotune or sythesizers but I loved the vocals in this. The beat was alright
