Just when Git Fresh were getting comfortable at So So Def/Island Urban, their boss, Jermaine Dupri, was fired from his position at the label. While their former labelmates 9th Ward, Dondria, and Rocko left to seek new distribution, the Fort Lauderdale natives have already released a brand-new single. Ready to relax at the nightspot, Rude Boi, Penny, Mike Ezay, and Pretti Sly make the ladies in the building an offer they can’t refuse, tantalizing their minds with thoughts of nights on the town, bubble baths drawn up for them, and getaways on remote islands—anything to make them feel Like A Woman. As if their soulful vocals weren’t enough, the singers call upon their alter-egos, the Studio Monkeyz, to craft an instrumental that will have females requesting Like A Woman on the regular—as has been demonstrated time and time again, if the ladies say it’s a hit, then it’s a hit!

I can see some ladies gettin into this joint. It's just OK for me. The production is OK, but could be better and be better suited to fit with the melody and hook. The melody on the verses and hook is pretty cool and catchy, and I think a different but similar beat would do it better justice. I also just have to say that dude who started the song off has an annoying voice...

The production is pretty dope and the beat is catchy! The hook is pretty good but the verses are decent..their vocals still need some improvement. Not enough content in this song to be a hit..nice song though...

These dudes will get MURDERED by Day 26. They sound too smooth for the track even. I can't really tell if they can actually sing or not from this track. It all just sounds way too over-produced and digitally aided. I'm with FredRico on this!

If you are just CASUALLY listening to this song, you might convince yourself that the guys are talking about feeling like women (themselves). Obviously, this isn't the case, but wanted to share.

The production was good but not great. I thought the melody on the verses could be better, and they need to get rid of the auto-tune. I really liked the bridge. Overall I enjoyed the song, but their song Booty Music is much better.

i always loved Git Fresh. Since deep side. I love all their music and i don't agree with some of you guys. These guys can REALLY SING. If u followed their career. Listen to them sing accapella on you tube. They Great. So i love this song. They can make me feel like a woman any day

i agree with Soto lmao. since 1996 vocals don't mean shit no more. To me it seems, if u can't sing you gonna b really famous. if u got skills, u don't get signed cause you are too good. hehehe... Bur honestly these guys can really sing. i know them, not personally, i wish lol.. but they just sang this way on this record. you gotta fit in with the times. T pain the dream,etc Artist with 0 vocal capability rules the airwaves. Artist that can really sing are under rated. i agree they were just flowing on this record.
