On his brand new, exclusive Buttons freestyle, the currently-unsigned emcee flows over his and co-producer Raak‘s original boardwork. Gilbere Forte’ is currently busy promoting debut street album 87 Dreams, released in July and available now online.

Gilbere Forte is a future star. Cuts like this are proof of that. 87 Dreams was tight as @*#$! and I'm really looking forward to what this guy has in store for his fans in the future.
I'd take this guy over Drake anyday. He can sing and rap and do them damn good. For a freestyle, this is some impressive stuff. Keep up the good work Forte. |

i have been impressed with gilbere so far, with "i know my love" as my favourite. this isnt as good but it is damn close. his singing and rapping skills are enormous and i see a big future ahead of him if the right people get onto him

Great to see the Freestyle Series back, especially with something this dope. A slightly harder flow than I'm used to from Forte, but he absolutely kills it. I'm going to have this one on repeat all day.

The beat is so raw! I'm liking this Raak & Forte' production....meanwhile searching youtube for more.... I like the intensity of the verses. Some hot lines here too.
