Anyone else noticed a certain pungent odor emanating from our mixtape page lately? Kinda like bay laurel, with a hint of Gatorade? Oh, right, that’s the sweet smell of Victory, and it’s coming from GhostWridah‘s latest street album. If there’s any doubt in your mind that the Miami-based Booth favorite’s been winning (no Charlie Sheen) big lately, then this standout track should be just the thing to dispel them. LowKey proves his name wrong on the production tip, cooking up a bombastic synth-percussion backdrop for the freestyle series alum‘s exultant verses. Though Ghost is clearly grateful for his success to date, he’s nowhere near satisfied – on the contrary, he’s not about to quit till he’s as big as… well… Biggie: “Do it B.I.G., got that Mr. Wallace spirit in me.” Booth newcomers The Strangerz sum it all up in their sweeping guest hook: “If I die making history, that’s good to me.” Digging this high-impact motivational anthem? I liked this track, it was one of my favorites from the mixtape, which I love. I like his style and lyricism, he needs to keep doin what he's doing.

Usually, i don't download a mixtape after hearing only one song, but after this, I am willing to make an exception. This is a absolute banger. Top-notch production, and a killer hook. GhostWridah's kills it as well.

I've done nothing but play this on repeat non-stop since I got the album. The homey Ghostwridah needs to be on the top right now! This is definitely the best song on "American Alien" in my opinion. I can't dent that I thought "The Strangerz" on the hook was Frank Ocean, and I actually just pretend it's him on there anyways. It definitely sounds like a Frank Ocean-esque hook, and that's perfectly fine at a time where his style is what is the hot, new thing at the moment. There needs to be a video for this and it should have airplay. Keep doing your thing Ghost!
