Ghostface Killah‘s upcoming album, The Big Doe Rehab, was originally intended to drop on December 4; the same day as Wu-Tang Clan’s 8 Diagrams. RZA ultimately chose to push 8D to the 11th to avoid conflict and with the drama behind them, Pretty Toney brings us the sure-to-be-classic, Barrell Brothers. While Styles P. and Wu affiliate Solomon Childs provide solid work on the bridges, the hype is centered on Ghost and Beanie Sigel; whose old-fashioned East Coast hustle tales make this an impressive retreat from the tired sounds that exist in the mainstream. Barrell Brothers is step two of The Big Doe Rehab; the complete 16-step program will be introduced December 4th.
