After a downright epic wait, it’s looking like Game fans will finally get their hands on a new album before the summer’s out. While the R.E.D. Album may be back on track for release, those two-plus years of delays and label rigamarole have left the West Coast repper understandably disillusioned with the industry—a fact that’s crystal clear from new single Pot of Gold. A far cry from last week’s b*tches/money-centric Bottles & Rockin’ J’s, this joint finds Game wondering whether he would have been better off if he had never attempted to “follow the rainbow” to fame and fortune. Over The Futuristics’ pop rock-infused production, Game gets a few things off his chest, reminding disappointed fans as well as haters that he’s only human, and revealing his tentative plans for the future: “Give Interscope two more albums, then I’m done for good.” Topped off with Chris Brown‘s plaintive hook vocals, this moody selection may be a bitter pill to swallow, but fans will undoubtedly appreciate its realness. According to Interscope, R.E.D. Album is set to arrive on store shelves in late August—keep your fingers crossed!

Decent, but again, not strong enough for Game to push is album; he needs a solo-single with an original WestCoast sound, like back in '06, his last effords were just below average.

I don't think this is the one, it's got a great message, but it's not catchy enough. I can see it on Top 40 stations though, so it's possible it could be a hit a la "Written In The Stars" by Tinie Tempah.

this is the song that put me back on to Game after he continually released bad track after bad track in 2010. This is the new (except for its quite old) My Life, with a hook that has someone that can actually sing. EPIC

This is the Game that everybody fell in love with. CB delivers a solid hook that should be all over the radio . This reminds me of a Alex Da Kid track

Im kind of iffy on the hook. Game is alright on this kind of like a more uptempo version of "My Life". The beat is just okay too. This is just a average track.

too early for THE single. but this is exactly the direction I would love R.E.D to sound. not in terms of instrumental, but Game raps best when it's personal to him.

At least it's better than the last single, and at least Chris Brown doesn't try to rap (again). This is the most relevant track from Game that I think more people will be able to relate to rather than: get money get b!tches stay hood type of stuff.

I liked the track overall. Big ups to the production from The Futuristics (the guitar was nicely worked in). Chris Brown's hook was pretty nice and the Game appears to be making a come back compared to his previous tracks.

Wow Game took a whole new direction with this song. He sounds the same but the beat is totally something ive never heard Game try to do. Its not all good but i do like it and its radio friendly. I think we might have game back. Its a banger in my opinion.
