Just when you thought 50 Cent retired his silly beef with fellow rapper Fat Joe, a new diss record courtesy of G-Unit pops up and restarts the feud. On I’m Leaving, which unbelievably is modeled after the John Denver classic, Leaving On A Jet Plane, 50 takes shots at Joey Crack for remarks he made on a recent appearance at BET’s Rap City. Flanked by Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, Curtis wastes his time complementing Fat Joe collaborator, J. Holiday, and explaining that if Joey wants to find him, “just look in the yellow pages n*gga.” So does legitimate beef exist or is I’m Leaving just a way to get G-Unit back in the headlines? Check back next week as we feature a Fat Joe exclusive interview.
Buck is the hardest member of the G-Unit squad, its nice to see that he is out of 50's shadow, and doing his own thing. That sucks for the rest of G-Unit, as they are left with Lloyd Bankrupt and Tony Homo. I hate Fat Joe too 50, but its time to retire while you're still on top!!!
This is hard street sh*t right here, which pretty much confirms that Hard street people aren't represented on the site correctly. This is tight. 50 Never lost it in my opinion, but this isn't his best, but Yayo skills is definitely Back! I like the whole track, but I guess that's cuz I am a G-Unit Rep...(not really, but they still got it).
Buck is not G-Unit's hardest. Lloyd Banks holdz-it-down!! 50 told the world that! "Banks told me go ahead switch the style-up and if they hate, then let em hate and watch the money pile-up". Ask 50... There wouldn't be a G-Unit without BANKS. AND.. Banks is a laid-back dude that spitz FYAH!! Imagine if he was cocky like 50?? Well, he's not so he speaks through 50. Whew!! after all that said... i hate to say it but this song is bogus. lol
If Ja Rule’s singing got criticized in Eleanor Rigby’s version, then this sad attempt at singing Leaving on a jet plane should be worse! Fat Joe’s 300 was way better than this, it was hard street sh*t (so I don’t know what you talkin about DjBlaze!), and he’s just one person (although his weight would make you think otherwise). As 50’s goin down, all his enemies are raising up (lookout for Ja Rule, The Game, etc…) Anyone who heard “Get rich or die tryin” cant help but feeling disappointed by 50 and whole G-Unit (except for Young Buck, not over rated ass Banks) We want the “you don’t know” 50, stop beefing!
Oh boy I see we got a lot of hating on G-Unit as usual....this joint is a banger.....That JaRule ish was garbage(every song he try to put out to get buzz for the album is garbage, even lil wayne couldnt save him...everything fat joe put out is garbage..(besides lean back and that was only hard because of the features, the hardest from terror squad was REMY and she gone)...I will admit that 50 and them fell off a little with some of their most recent stuff....but this song is ill
hot 50 cent still talking down on this fat hoe okayy but
he won fat how wanne get some more star power right back
but be true j-holiday crash the song to i won't tell.
even 50 know his career is over, that's why his next (and last) cd name self-destruction. and buck just made the best career move ever. banks isn't underrated because everyone knows he can flow but he's just stuck on 50 tattooed balls.
well im typically not a fan of g-unit, but this song isnt as awful as alot of the recent stuff ive heard from them. its kinda catchy to hear that hook too
banks is my favorite in g-unit. he is very underrated. this song does go hard tho. yayo is a bit annoyin in my opinion but he tries. buck be goin hard too...i still be blastin "get buck." 50 is annoyin too. his earlier stuff was the ish but now hes just whatever. i dont think i liked ne of his singles off of "curtis."
50 is fallin off a lil but that what happens when you release mixtapes, albums, and features each month for 3-4 years. you run out of content to rap about. which is why Curtis was wack but G-unit radio 25 was the best shit he done since get rich or die tryin. nice song. id give it a 4 but all the talkin at the end ruined it
I still don't understand why people are still hating on g-unit & 50. i would like to see a list of these guys fav. rappers. Honestly let me know who all ya'll like. then ill let you know what i think of them.
“banks isn't underrated because everyone knows he can flow but he's just stuck on 50 tattooed balls.” (thanx Rico Sean) I guess this answers why I said Banks is overrated, DjRoyale. And by overrated I mean people consider him better than Bucks, which I think he isn’t.
listen to 300 from fat joe and compare it to this song, and BoyzNBlue04 i don't mind people liking who they want, getting your opion on who i like would be pointless as people have different taste and i don't realy care what other people think
Anyone please understand, this has nothing to do with hating and more with tough love. I loved G-Unit’s earlier work (Beg for mercy), I went to their show here at Portugal twice (2005, 2006) but I couldn’t keep supporting them when the quality has gone so low. I want them to make good music again, that’s all. As for my favorite rappers BoyzNBlue04, here they are (not in order): Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Eminem, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, The Game, Chamillionaire, StylesP, T.I., Papoose… I’ve heard more smart lines from Papoose, who never had a chance to record an album, than from Banks, Buck or Yayo.
fuck the haters, not a big fan of g-unit, but this right here is HOT!!! Would have been even hotter 2-3 years ago as the industry has changed significantly...
I dont like this song at all but you people that say 50 has lost it better listen more closely to his lyrics because he is laughing at you working 9-5 jobs while he is buying whichever car he wants. If he needed to lay down a fire track he could but why not make a few candyshop songs to pad his bank account? Id do it... dont say yall wouldnt.
I like this but I still like FAT JOE did yall listen to the crack house
damn the words at the end of this is some straight Bully sh!t damn!
50 Go easy man lol!
anyhow how I like all these dudes, I wish they could squash this beef!
we all kno he beat fat joe but he still goin at him he should have better things to do.....usually some of his dis tracks are among his best(ie. I Run New York) but this really isnt one of them...
