Fresh Daily - Submarine Bass Face
Artist: Fresh Daily
Featuring: MeLo-X
Producer: P.u.d.g.e
Album: The Brooklyn Good Guy
Label: High Water Is Music
What’s a Submarine Bass Face, you ask? Hit “play” on Fresh Daily‘s latest jam, stand in front of the nearest mirror and—assuming your subs pack the requisite punch—see for yourself. The artist’s first feature since stepping into the DJBooth with Thanx (Dude26 Remix) back in May, the latest song release off Daily’s latest street album finds him trading bars with fellow Brooklynites Suede Jury and MeLo-X over a P.u.d.g.e instrumental grimy enough to elicit a visible reaction from even the most jaded bassheads. Sarah Riazati directs the joint’s stylish visual accompaniment. Released this past March, Converse-presented mixtape The Brooklyn Good Guy is available now online. Fans can also cop Network State of Mind Remixtape, a collaborative effort with P.SO, for free in the Booth.

I could definitely see this playing in a club. I was actually feeling Suede Jury's flow the most. MeLo-X came in second. I liked his delivery b/c it was very energetic. This song is hype and the beat is going hard all throughout

MeLo-X has slowly but surely converted me to a fan over the course of his booth career here. I liked the verses on the track, but I was not feeling the beat at all on this one. four stars for the verses, one for the beat.

Different unique beat. Nice flows over the dark beat. I'm liking it, but its not anything I would listen to again.

Really tight beat-work by P.u.d.g.e and Fresh Daily put in nice work on the beat. Everyone else provided a good contrasting flow to bring it all together nicely. I'll run this back.

It doens't flow very well. The effects on his voice after almost each line gets sickening. I had to turn it off early. The delivery is good, though.
