After getting his start by conducting freestyle rap battles in his Philadelphia high school cafeteria, Freeway has come a long way from his humble beginnings. The former lunchroom MC is signed to Jay-Z former Roc-A-Fella records, and is set to release his second album, Free at Last. The first single, Some Say Yes, is a smooth song with a warm, old-school feel, and features a wide-awake performance from Sleepy Brown. Expect to hear more great tracks from Freeway on his album, due to be released before the end of this year.
This song sounds like a left-over from the early nineties that was passed on by many artists. This song should be sent to the recycle bin and never degraded because it doesn’t need to be reproduced.
