As the days creep closer to the arrival of Freeway’s new album, Free At Last, the team at Roc-A-Fella has unleashed what sounds like a radio programmer’s dream. After dropping a plethora of street heavy songs, Freeway and executive producer 50 Cent switch it up on the new single, Take It To The Top. Produced by Jonathan “JR” Rotem the song features 50 singing on the hook, yup singing, and Freeway rapping like someone put him in a time machine and sent him back to the studio during the Philadelphia Freeway sessions. Currently on tour with Hova (three dates remaining), Freeway anxiously awaits November 20th and the chance to rise up once again.
Freeway tears up the creative use the synthesizers. The only thing I don't like about this record is 50 Cent on the hook. First Fat Joe sucking up and now 50? Couldn't J.R. find a soulful sample instead?!
the hook is the only thing I'm really feelin, the lyrics of the hook is real, anyhow this is okay from freeway but he more of a rougher style rapper I think but I guess he's tryin to be ambi-stylistic ( made that up lol)! 6-10

This is Fire! Thank you everyone for finally showing 50 some love! He is one of the greatest and everyone knows that, even the haters! He is the one who told Freeway to switch his style up and if they hate then let em hate and watch the money pile up! Why you think Freeway doesn't rap all exaggerated anymore? 50! But anyway, this track is solid and is definitely radio or album ready! Good job and F-the haters! G-Unit for Life! (F-the Game!)

50's best songs are when he's by himself and on the Hook. Not to mention freeway can even change his style up and still spit str8 fire. Song is hot and guess people are always gonna hate.
